Marketing for the Fauconberg Arms

Fauconberg Arms marketing materialArrow right Simon Rheinberg and his family approached Bow House in the spring to work with them on their marketing – they needed to increase footfall into their stunning country pub in the beautiful village of Coxwold, as well as attract guests to their smart Yorkshire B&B accommodation.

After commissioning a professional photographer, Bow House created some striking printed material, ran a successful local ad campaign, enhanced the search engine optimisation of the Fauconberg’s old website and ensured a large increase in accommodation enquiries by promoting the inn on a number of successful tourism directory sites including Hello Yorkshire.

A delighted Simon has since asked Bow House to redesign the Fauconberg Arms website – watch this space for further developments.

2009 Whitby Visitor Guide Out

Due to the ever increasing popularity of the guide, this years print run increased by 10,000 copies to a whopping 60,000.

Bow House have again worked on behalf of Whitby District Tourism Association, designing and producing the guide, as well as selling advertising space to many local eateries and visitor attractions to ensure the guide is packed with useful information for visitors.

New Nortelco Website Launched

Starting from the ground up, the brief was to bring the design bang up to date and add a range of extra functionality to open up new business channels and offer new online services to their large, professional client base.

As well striking a perfect design balance between professional and friendly, to mirror Nortelco's customer service ethos, the site includes many great technical features such as a bespoke ecommerce system for the purchase of mobile handsets and accessories, dynamic news feeds and RSS feeds from BBC and Sky News, personalised and secure login areas for a range of client groups, and a back end administration system, which allows Nortelco to update any part of the site whenever they like.


 

New Port of Call for Whitby Visitors

The new website offers accommodation listings for Whitby hotels, Whitby cottages and Whitby B&B, as well as details of local visitor attractions and places to eat.

Members of the Whitby Beacon Town Forum and WDTA keep the site regularly updated via a Wordpress admin system, so visitors can benefit from local news, events and tourist information.

Shop redesign is a hit!

BetterdazeShop.jpgArrow rightHaving produced a great looking website for Jukebox party company Betterdaze, the owner approached Bow House to mock up a design for the shop front to carry their branding from the virtual world into the real world.

Using pictures of the original building and some Photoshop wizardry, our designers were able to transform the old snaps into a vision of the future, which Betterdaze then used to revamp their presence on the high street.

alexlochhead.jpgArrow right When local acupuncture specialist, Alex Lochhead, approached us to develop his company's branding and carry it across a range of printed material to market the business' services.  We were happy to take the stress out of his promotional predicament.

After developing a logo that supported the 'natural' ethos of the business we designed large format posters to promote the benefits of the treatments Alex offers. We also produced appointment cards to help reinforce the company's identity in the minds of customers.

New menus give Singapore coffee house a perk

With the brochure website up and running, plans are underway to add an online shop selling a wide range of pond care equipment and accessories.

Cistercian monks' Jervaulx Abbey website revamped

Jervaulx AbbeyArrow right After we produced some printed material for Jervaulx Abbey, we were approached to redesign the website of these beautiful 12th century Cistercian monastic ruins in the Yorkshire Dales.

 

Keen to reflect the unique and special qualities of the Abbey, the new website is in keeping with its peaceful, rural and atmospheric ambience. By using our own photography and writing much of the copy, our design team were able to use their own experiences of the Abbey to create a stunning website.

The Wyvill Arms has a great reputation for fantastic food and excellent hospitality, so we couldn't resist going over there to take some pictures that really do the place justice.

Using a 'lightbox' photo gallery, we were able to really show off some of the fantastic looking dishes and comfortable accommodation on offer.

Bow House Changes National Park Boundaries

Arrow right In autumn 2007 the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority commissioned Bow House to take over production of ‘The Visitor’, a free newspaper with a print run of 220,000, filled with useful information about the area, events listings and advertising from local attractions, eateries and accommodation providers.

 

We brought the publication bang up to date with a fresh new design and a clean layout that really supports the National Park’s branding as ‘One of Britain’s Breathing Spaces’.

 

We shifted the boundaries further, sourcing loads of new contacts and exceeding our contracted target for advertising sales by more than 20%.

Hampshire Advertising Sales Hit £3million

Hampshire catalogue sample spread Bow House has recently passed the £3,000,000 mark on advertising sales for the Hampshire County Supplies Catalogue. We have helped to grow sales for the catalogue by over 700% since we first linked up with Hampshire in 1992. Hampshire Supplies' Marketing & Information Manager Robert Cuzner, recently told us, "I'm absolutely delighted with the sales figures you've achieved on our behalf over the years, and congratulate everyone at Bow House on a consistent record of strong, professional and effective sales campaigns for the Hampshire Supplies Catalogue."

It's our brightest design yet and it's packed with products which can be purchased by schools, local government departments, and other selected organisations within the Fife Council region.
